4vrCute it really wasn't so bad I had on a goosedown coat, wool socks, winter boots, wool gloves and a wool hat. Plus I only had to walk 2 1/2 blocks. I'm just glad it had warmed up from the 40 below we had the previous days. Unfortunetly I must not have warmed my car up enough. The oil couldn't get to the engine and now the engine is ruined...so looks like I'll need a new car. Life goes on
Oh my, that's horrible. 9 below zero? Eeeeek! You must have needed something really bad to even go to the store in THAT COLD! So I'm supposing you carried what you could home with you. Gosh, that sounds horrible. I'm so sorry you suffered through that! {{{HUGS}}}

@4vrCute I did have a warm and cozy evening after I walked home through the 9 below zero cold in the dark when my car died on the road on the way home from the store. Its nice and sunny here today..yippeee!! There is another big snow storm forcast for Thursday night thru Friday though. Hope you are having a nice day!
I just watched the half dog half human elves - it was both creepy & cute. Yet my fav was 'Grandma got run over by a reindeer', I LOVE that song. I remember when it first came out I played it for my nana & she didn't like it because of its premise & I told her most Cmas songs are just remakes of old songs, this is a brand new song. Of course now there's lots of new songs ... Thanks for the morning smile!
