Jumping back into the world of block puzzles with Tetroid 2 feels like meeting an old friend with a new haircut. As the sequel to the highly popular first version, it's like a hearty handshake followed by a brain-buster. You need to drag and drop blocks onto a 10x10 grid, aiming to clear lines horizontally or vertically, reminiscent of a certain iconic brick game we all know and love, but with its own quirky twist.

The game’s end lurks around the corner when you run out of space to plop down your shapes, making each move a delightful dance of strategy and foresight. It’s cooooooooool, as some have put it, and it got me hooked on trying (and sometimes failing) to beat my high score. Others seem to nod in agreement, sharing that there's just something addictive about pushing your limits in a confined digital space.

While Tetroid 2 might not be the flashiest game on the block, it’s certainly a solid choice for those in search of a puzzle that offers a nice balance of easy-to-learn mechanics and tough-to-master gameplay.
