Game Description

Ocho

The objective is to get rid of all the cards in the hand before anyone else does. Match the cards by color or by number and try to be the first one who will get rid of all the cards and win the game. Unlike the classic game you do not have to declare UNO and there are no challenges for more fluent games. The game works in both Portrait and Landscape orientations. Supports from 2 to 8 players in classic mode and 2vs2, 3vs3, 4vs4, and 6vs6 in team mode.

Engaging and Vibrant Take on a Classic Card Game

4.7

I recently spent some time playing Ocho on Play123, and I have to admit that this game has become a quick favorite for my gaming sessions. The objective of the game resonates familiarly—getting rid of all your cards before anyone else does. With the vibrant color matches and the number varieties, each round pulses with energy and a bit of strategic depth.

What sets Ocho apart is the absence of having to announce 'UNO', making for a more fluid gameplay and I find this increases the competitive mystery among players. Folded into the gameplay are diverse modes supporting 2 to 8 players, which can pivot into team formats like 2vs2 or even up to 6vs6, making for a fantastic party game that keeps everyone engaged.

Other gamers seem to mirror my sentiment, praising the game's direction cues and customizable settings like turning off the music for a more personal experience. There was some feedback on the unpredictability of card dealings when nearing the win, but that added a layer of challenge as well. The game's landscape and portrait orientations are well-optimized, so playing on different devices is seamless.

Wrapping up, Ocho garners praise for being 'extremely addictive and fun to play', and it's a testament I've seen echoed across the player base. It's certainly not your run-of-the-mill card game, and the polish and simplicity make it a great pick for casual gamers looking for a snappy, entertaining match among friends or solo against AI.
