I am participating in the wake for RG as well.
Still high numbers of visitors on RG with just 3 days to go.
Like a "deathbed vigil", the snow scenes have just kicked in so site still shows signs of life even though we're waiting for the inevitable.
So wish someone up there could see the value of the site, not financial but so much more.
Anyone else play Backgammon? There's a new game just popped up named "Backgammonia", the computer opponent is very poor but there appears to be an option to play against another human.
Where is everyone? I see no visitors here for a while. Where is everyone playing? I like this site best so far, except we can't send challenges. If we could send challenges to single players or multiple players, it would be great. Could maybe even try to host a tournament. IF, there was a way to determine all the scores.

Susan, I do not see any ads, perhaps due to ad blocker? But the new version lost its "hint" button, and it won't automatically shuffle either if there's no more moves.
Hello all you quiet people
The One Card Game is actually an UNO clone. How are the mahjong players liking the new ads in Mahjongg Master Qwan? Oh and the new disjointed layouts? Myself, not as much as I liked the original..oh well its' free.
Guess several of you have seen the news by now, King.com website is closing down in a few weeks time, guess that extinguished any faint hope we had for RG
Will still be able to play Candy Crush etc... via Google Play or Apple Store apps, so basically M$oft are just letting Google and Apple collect the money for them, without shelling out to host a website.
Would recommend that anyone who plays Candy Crush etc... registers an account on the King.com website now before it closes, ottherwise you won't be able to retrieve your progress, bonuses, achievements after a crash.

@Bally, King also used to have 240,000 DAILY users when our site was at its peak, we used to crash the site when around 200k or more were logged in.
Nostalgic games are always a big draw, so are little 5 minute "time-wasters" when you've a little time to kill, like Minesweeper, Hearts and Solitaire were.
Obviously they're not going to generate income on their own, but they'd be quite an incentive if you could play them for free by subscribing to an app in Windows, like that Xbox one. They've done it before, still got that "W Games" link onthis laptop's desktop. That had a few games that were free, in amongst a lot more that you had to pay a few quid for, Google Play does the same, usually spamming the free version with ads so you pay for a version without ads.
King has 240 million MAU (monthly active users) A site with a couple of thousand daily is likely not a big deal to them. However I wish they would take notice of the loyalty of RG players. They just don't want us anymore. Microsoft... were still here!
Alley Kittens is similar to the old minesweeper, have played 5 games but each time since goes to black screen like RG did.
If you can then each square shows how many cats adjacent so possible 8 could surround, but game is 10 only, you dont need to hit all but as soon as the 10th one found then each level is complete.
You do need to be very quick as not a long time to play, but practice will help also using the grey matter, or the one brain cell !!

not been on the RG site as those who see the last 5 signed in to site so all you get is messages from them about other sites.
But hope maybe the old games could be brought back without Flash Player, sadly few on here are affected but no FP ???
Just wondering if today's big story has changed our chances. Micro$oft bought Activision/Blizzard including King for $50 billion, they love a captive audience, got a ready made one on RG
Or they might want to get some of that money back, sell RG as a going concern, or at least sell the games to another site if they've got no use for them themselves.
